About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Block Functional Specialist – Financial Inclusion to drive financial access, literacy, and empowerment initiatives for rural communities and Self-Help Groups (SHGs).
Key Responsibilities
- Bank Linkage & Loan Facilitation: Facilitate SHG-bank linkages, streamline loan application processing, and monitor sanctioning, disbursement, and repayment.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise closely with local banks, Bank Sakhis, and Business Correspondents (BCs) to improve financial delivery networks.
- Financial Literacy & Awareness: Conduct structured awareness programs on financial management and promote key government social security schemes (PMJJBY, PMSBY, APY).
- Enterprise Support & Insurance: Assist SHG members in securing financial access for local enterprises, and support insurance enrollment and claim settlements.
- Data & Community Management: Organize bank coordination meetings, foster community engagement, and maintain detailed data and reporting on financial inclusion metrics.
Key Qualifications & Eligibility
- Education: Post-graduate degree or diploma in Science, Business Management (Finance), or Commerce from a recognized university or institution.
- Age Limit: Below 30 years.
- Experience:
- 1–2 years of experience in Rural Development and Poverty Alleviation programs.
- 1–2 years of experience working in Banks, Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), or Microfinance Institutions (MFIs).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in computer applications, with strong knowledge of MS Office and Google Sheets.
